For almost 20 years, at Givenchy and then Dior, he dressed the most beautiful and famous women in the world. He re-invented the fashion industry by transforming his shows into immersive events with extravagant scenographies. Thanks to his creativity and imagination, he turned high-fashion from an elitist niche into a multi-billion-dollar global business.
Galliano was requested to produce up to 36 different collections every year. With all this pressure and his long-term alcohol problem things got completely out of control leading to the night of 2011 which ended his flamboyant career.
